About Steven Ainsworth

Steven Ainsworth

I grew up exploring the natural world along the Ohio River and in the woods on my father's farm in Southern Indiana. While studying environmental planning in the Architecture School at the University of Virginia, I added an interest in architecture to my love of natural landscapes. My work often is an exploration of how these two subjects interact together in natural light. Most of my images are from near my current home of Alexandria, Virginia, my former home of southern Indiana, and travels to various places in the U.S. with occasional foreign travel. My images have appeared in periodicals, annual reports, brochures, calendars, travel guides, hotels, model homes, and in local shows and shops. Thank you for visiting my site and hope...
